well i'm still in Taiwan. Taipei city to be exact. and for those of you that are a little woozy-ba-doozy about Taipei… it's basically the concrete jungle of Taiwan. here, a pair of comfortable shoes will be your best friend. i still however, prefer mine to be patent leather and a few inches above ground level. here, there's literally a bakery (or a 7-Eleven) on every block. which could be a dream or your worst nightmare.

but enough about Taipei (for now) more to come later… considering i will be residing here for a few more months. this month has been both terrifying and incredibly exciting for me. making the trip half way across the world (from sunny California), going on interviews (all in Chinese) and now diving into this industry that i've only dreamed about for years and years is not only beyond intimidating but also the best feeling of accomplishment ever.

oh, and not to mention…it's like designer heaven everyday.

out of school for nearly half a year, and i don't miss a thing. everyone always told me that i would be having SUUURIOUS withdrawals once i graduated, and half a year later… i feel nothing. (#heartless) the only thing i really miss is seeing my friend who literally became my other half. if you saw her, you'd see me (probably a few steps behind… because apparently i never knew where i was going). we were two peas in a pod, germ-aphobes, ill-school-spirited, makeup-less, had unkempt hair, brought lunch in a brown sack, had an everlasting commitment to leggings/t-shirts/havaianas, visited professors, thought 85% weren't so great, had that "computer font" type of writing, obsessed with large sticky notes, dodged sorority girls, took notes in textbooks and had an undying love for fashion.

while i continue to search for my niche in fashion, she started an online vintage store. When Decades Collide is full of romantic, bohemian, girly, one of a kind vintage pieces. visit now! … and visit often.

so proud of you Can <3

anyways, the point of all this is that we were FINALLY reunited this past weekend.

oh, and that i wore faux fur to a mexican restaurant. ahoy!

you know what they say. sunday-funday!… but rainday-sunday?

it was raining cats and dogs in the AM, but fortunately by the PM it was all sunshine and sunflowers. feeling a bit inspired by the sun, i decided to ditch the leggings and opt for some stockings! no, actually not really. the leggings got soaking wet from the cats and dogs, and i think people started wondering if A. i had a bladder problem or B. mother never potty trained me.

anyways… this past week, i've been cleaning out my closet (not like eminem). but have you ever found something in your closet that you forgot you had? it's literally the best feeling ever. it
's like shopping without spending money. (!!!JACKPOT!!!) so if you haven't experience this, i suggest you try it stat. it's really easy, just stop cleaning your closet. (preferably for a few weeks--messiness will follow guaranteed)

and tucked in behind my winter coats was this orange print dress. i had to wear it. but as i mentioned before, it's like 62 degrees here. um freezing. so what's a girl gotta do? ha! easy! put something over it, tuck in some fabric and pop the collar (preferably not like eminem).
